Job Purpose / summary This person will be responsible for month end close for US entity and support for Consolidation

Key Responsibilities

Support during month close and year end for US entity
Controller for the small operational entities
Trial Balance review and upload, CoA Mapping review, Support for accounting and tax related matters.
Provide support for Global Analytics-Business drivers for PL/BS Variances Post journal entries
Prepare eview of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Reconcile legal numbers to management numbers
Perform ad-hoc reports and scheduled reports during month end
Support for Global Medline Audit. Tax restructuring, liquidationsdeconsolidation/new entity set up etc
Support stat audit reporting requirements
Support ad-hoc projects as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Qualification and experience

Chartered Accountant – 1 to 4 years post qualification experience

Work Experience-

Hands on experience in GL close process
Balance Sheet reconciliation
Month end close process
Comprehensive knowledge of multi-national book-keeping

IS Experience

SAP or any other ERP
Excellent excel skills
Nice to have: Trintech and Tagetik

Soft Skills

Ability to communicate strongly and influence without authority
Strong math, analytical skills
Having Continuous improvement mindset
Flexibility and good team player
Multi stake holder management

Working hours

10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (Day light saving)
