The Market Intelligence Platform and Channels (PC) organization provides data technology and services supporting acquisition, ingestion, content management, mastering and distribution to power our business line and customer needs. Focus on platform scale to support business lines through a common data lifecycle that accelerates business value. The office strives to provide new insight to our customers through data discovery, research, and integrated access. In certain cases, the office will utilize capital investment on key initiatives to deliver immediate value or remediate high risk areas through structured programs. Maintains a focus on innovation to keep ahead of market trends and disruptive technologies.
Responsibilities
Partnering with technology teams & leads to define key financial metrics for projects
Reporting and monitoring financial KPIs to understand financial outcomes, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management
Performing financial variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and presenting commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts
Helping design financial model and dashboards to efficiently track financial information
Assist teams during purchase request process, advising on appropriate financial codes and approvals.
Skillsets
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (quantitative field preferred) or equivalent, relevant experience
4+ years of relevant experience
Interpersonal skills: A detail-oriented self-starter with strong analytical skills, ability to take initiative, and ability to multi-task
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex financial models
Advanced demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions
Experience supporting a Shared Services function as a financial analyst in a large corporate environment
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Extensive experience in working with cross-functional business team with ability to negotiate and influence project outcomes
Ability to quickly learn new applications or software tools
